Piranha Sports is excited to announce the Killington Triathlon scheduled for July 4, 2009. Featuring an International and Sprint Distance - this event promises to be one of the toughest triathlons you'll ever do. Kick off the 4th of July by challenging yourself in the Northeast's toughest triathlon then relax and enjoy all that Killington has to offer in the summer. Hike the Appalachian Trail, golf at the Green Mountain National Golf Course, or ride the Alpine Slide; wrapping up the day with a spectacular fireworks display at night.
This race is a great tune up race for Lake Placid! The Killington Triathlon is a Greater Atlantic Multisport Series and Greater Atlantic Club Challenge Race.
DiamondGirl Series
Piranha Sports is proud to announce our newest series, DiamondGirlTM. The DiamondGirlTM Series features four women's only events located in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York . These events will feature mostly sprint distances and count towards the Greater Atlantic Club Challenge, the New York race features the only International distance women's only triathlon on the East Coast!
This is a great opportunity for women of all ages to compete among their "peers", as well as for beginners to become familiar with the sport of triathlon. Moms, plan a weekend with your kids and register for DiamondGirlTM Delaware for you and Escape from School Youth Triathlon for your kids. The youth triathlon is held at the same venue, Lums Pond State Park, the day before DiamondGirlTM Delaware. Even if you have never done a triathlon before, the experienced staff of Piranha Sports will steer you through the process of your first triathlon. If you are a club member, you can earn points for your club as DiamondGirlTM races are also part of the Greater Atlantic Club Challenge.
